Once a tired function centre, this venue has been transformed into a vibrant, high-performing destination designed to attract more people and host a wider range of events. AVOR led the project from concept through to completion, delivering a complete interior reinvention focused on increasing capacity, elevating the atmosphere, and creating a space the community would actively choose.

The design introduces a contemporary, welcoming feel, with refreshed circulation areas that create a cohesive arrival experience. The main function space has been reimagined to maximise flexibility, allowing it to adapt seamlessly to different event types while maintaining a strong sense of identity. A bespoke Axminster carpet anchors the interior, adding visual impact and a distinctive character.

More than a simple upgrade, this project unlocks the venue’s full potential—supporting events, celebrations, and community gatherings year-round, and demonstrating how thoughtful design can revitalise and enhance an existing asset.
