Building on the success of Stage 1, AVOR delivered the next key element of this growing precinct—a dynamic, community-focused function and recreation hub designed to enhance both experience and performance.
At its core is a purpose-built function space accommodating up to 150 guests, supported by a fully equipped commercial kitchen and bar. Designed for flexibility, it easily transitions from game-day hospitality to private events, creating a valuable year-round asset. The facility also includes a new gymnasium, multipurpose areas, and dedicated timekeepers’ spaces, supporting both athletes and spectators.
Behind the scenes, carefully planned service and cleaning areas ensure smooth day-to-day operations. Architecturally, the building responds to its setting, with an elevated form and a considered roofline that maximises sightlines to the oval and improves viewing experiences.
More than just a new building, this stage strengthens the entire precinct—delivering a flexible, high-performing facility that supports current needs while enabling future growth.
